They can be so cute at times. Even though sometimes they get on my nerves. But they act like a teenage couple. My mom and my step dad don’t like to be boring. Sometimes they like to go out and have some fun, or they just stay home and chill. Chill as in watch a movie together, cook, play video games, or simply cuddle and fall asleep. I find it cute when they have “tickle wars” or when they wrestle because that’s when my mom actually smiles. I love seeing her beautiful smile. I used to barely see her smile. I can just tell in her eyes how happy she is.

Yeah, they’re not the cutest looking couple. But deep inside, looks shouldn’t matter. My mom even said her feelings never changed for him before or after they got married. They fight and argue, but in the end they’re still together, loving each other equally. And that’s how it should be. I look up to them. I hope I can love someone one day the way they love each other.
